The best part about streaming on Netflix is that there are always new titles to explore every week.
Netflix library includes many different forms of content based on type, genre, and language.
And like me, I’m sure you also enjoy watching anime content on Netflix. That is what keeps us hooked on Netflix and coming back for more.
If you already have a Netflix subscription, you can access the app on your TV screen.
For instance, if you are subscribed to Cox cable service, you can access the Netflix app from the list of apps available on the TV screen. Making it easy for you to stream on your TV screen at home! Streaming on high quality seems effortless with Cox Internet as it offers blazing fast speed with no buffering.
I have a whole list of anime titles that I have bookmarked on Netflix to catch up on, and a new month coming up means new titles to be added to the list.
Pokemon Horizons: The Series
The newest Pokemon series is coming back! However, this time, there’s no more Ash Ketchum and Pikachu! Didn’t expect that, did we?
The story revolves around Liko getting to Kanto for her studies at Indigo Academy, where she gets her first Pokemon, Sprigatito. There she meets a boy, Roy who also has his own Pokemon, Fuecoco. Liko is a character with a calm demeanor as compared to Ash Ketchum. But those who miss watching Ash, may notice his level of excitement in Roy!
The two characters pair up to go on a trip with the Rising Volt Trackers all around the Pokemon world. Their opponents turn out to be a rival group namely Explorers, who are very keen to get their hands on Liko’s mysterious pendant!
Pokemon Horizons may not be one of the best Pokemon anime out there, but we have to admit it’s a breath of fresh air from Ash and Pokemon.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse
If you are not familiar with this anime, the setting of The Seven Deadly Sin: Four Knights of the Apocalypse takes place years after the original story ends.
The protagonist Percival (a.k.a. one of the four knights) is the one who is believed to bring about the end of the world as we know it. He lives with his grandfather when he has an encounter with a mysterious knight that forever changes Percival’s destiny. Now he must set out on an endless journey, and what a journey it turns out to be!
Apart from being an amazing action series, The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse also has some humorous characters, light dialogues, and a unique setting. Best of all, the seven deadly sins are also what keep you on your toes the entire series!
Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai
Dragon Quest itself doesn’t need any introduction, with it being one of the most popular and longest-running video games of all time! Even if someone hasn’t played this one, they most definitely have heard of it.
However, there is no need to play the games to understand the story of Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai. For fans who enjoy classic fantasy, this series follows the story of a young boy Dai who grew up on an island full of monsters. He dreams of becoming a great hero to defeat the dark lord, and he does get that chance when he trains under a great warrior. From there on, the story picks up a pace and keeps you hooked with Dai throughout.
The series also contains some shocking twists that I won’t spoil. Instead, I encourage you to add Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai to your watchlist!
My Happy Marriage OVA
If you don’t already know, OVA is an original video animation of any series, so this title refers to the OVA of My Happy Marriage that is coming on Netflix.
My Happy Marriage hit the top of Netflix’s global charts because many users found this series enjoyable and entertaining. When we talk about happily ever after, an arranged marriage isn’t something that comes to mind. But in this series, an arranged marriage is a lifesaver for Miyo who comes from an abusive home. Although her husband is rumored to be a terrible person, Miyo learns that it isn’t simply true. In the end, we’d say My Happy Marriage is a roller coaster that keeps you hooked from start to finish.
We can’t wait to find out what the OVA version of My Happy Marriage series has in store for us!
Sand Land: The Series
This newest series is based on a short manga series by Akira Toriyama, set to debut in mid-March 2024.
Sand Land is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, occupied by both humans and demons, where all access to water is controlled by a ruthless ruler. Tired of all the suffering, two characters namely Beezlebub, who is the prince of demons, and Rao, a small-town sheriff, form a team to set off on an adventure to find the so-called Legendary Spring.
What’s more, there already has been a movie version of Sand Land, though the series is supposed to include expanded scenes naturally.
Wrapping Up (H2)
I can’t say much about the plot of all these anime mentioned above, because they have yet to be released. I am excited about them coming up, and I hope you are too!
Let us know in the comments about other anime series you are looking forward to on Netflix!
